The Columbia Consulting Group develops and facilitates customized on-site workshops and retreats for our agency clients. Although each agency's workshop and retreat is unique, the subject matter typically falls into one of three categories: strategic agency leadership, teambuilding and management skills development.
Strategic Agency Leadership
Audience: the agency's management team
Typical issues and objectives:
- Assessment of the agency's leadership strengths and improvement needs
- Creation or refinement of the agency's vision and mission
- Development of implementation strategies and tactics
- Assignment of implementation responsibilities and accountability
- Development of internal communications package
- Optional private coaching

Teambuilding Workshops
Audience: agency cross-functional team or single department managers and staff

- Assessment of sources and implications of team performance problems
- Awareness of relationship issues
- Development of a common team objective and performance processes
- Conflict resolution
- Quarterly follow-up and counsel on progress made and obstacles encountered
Management Skills Development
Audience: agency managers and supervisors
Typical issues and objectives:
- Moving from agency vision/mission to performance and improved results
- New process introduction, i.e. people performance management systems and procedures
- Improved people development skills
